There are countless opportunities for us to enjoy in Biatorbágy and the surrounding settlements, far from the noise and commotion of the capital.
The area is a great place for a weekend getaway for families and friends, if you like hiking you may want to plan a small excursion and visit the natural and architectural values of the area.

Etyek wine region
Close to the capital, yet featuring the calmness of the countryside where one can enjoy the hospitality of the winemakers of the Etyek region, while other settlements in the area also offer plenty of opportunities for recreation. Attractions in the area include the viaduct at Biatorbágy and the church ruins at Zsámbék. The Etyek-Buda wine region is one of the oldest wine-growing areas in Hungary.

Statue Park
The Memento Park open-air museum displays the relics of the period of 1945-89 and features works of socialism that were removed from the streets of Budapest after the change of regime. The park has many 20th-century statues and many other works of art, including memorials to Lenin, Marx, Dimitrov and Béla Kun. The park is a spectacular documentary on public art in the era in Hungary’s history that lasted half a century.

Budaörs chapel
The Chapel of Immaculate Conception is located on Kő-hill in the centre of Budaörs, offering a beautiful view of the city. The chapel was built in the 18th century and it was destroyed completely during World War II, but thanks to generous donors it was fully reconstructed by the early 2000s. When on Kő-hill, the Trinity statue is also worth a visit.

Moreover, there are many confectioneries and restaurants where you can stop if you are tired of the tour and want to rest and recuperate.

Budapest

Premier Outlet is about 15 minutes’ drive from Budapest.

The Hungarian capital is a popular destination in the heart of Europe, not only for visitors from the neighbouring countries, but also from countries farther away in Europe.

This is due, among other things, to the vibrant cultural life of Budapest, its famous thermal baths and its impressive historic buildings.

For young and old alike, it is a great place for a weekend getaway or for longer vacations. The number of visitors to Budapest has been increasing in recent years.
